How a licence works

From basket to renewal in five steps

No account to set up, no card stored by us, nothing that renews on its own.

    Choose

    Pick a product and a tier, or put a workspace together from a base product and modules. The quantity is the number of separate licences you need.

  2. 02

    Pay

    Pay at checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through our payment service provider. Prices include applicable taxes, and business buyers can add a company name and VAT number.

  3. 03

    The email arrives

    Access details are sent to the email you give at checkout: a workspace invitation for cloud products, a download link and licence key for desktop ones.

  4. 04

    Use it for 12 months

    A licence runs for 12 months from delivery. Jeda Ledger Desktop also includes 12 months of updates, and the installed version keeps working afterwards.

  5. 05

    Renew by buying again

    Nothing renews automatically. When the 12 months are coming to an end, you buy the licence again.

Questions buyers ask first

Can I add my company name and VAT number to the order?

Yes. Business buyers enter a company name and VAT number at checkout. They are stored with the order and shown on the order page. Prices include applicable taxes, and our payment service provider, who is the merchant of record, issues the payment confirmation and receipt.

What is the difference between a seat and a licence?

A licence is one purchase that runs for 12 months. A seat is a person in a cloud workspace, so Jeda Projects Team has 10 seats. Ledger Desktop is counted in companies and Jeda Flow in active workflows. The quantity in your basket is the number of separate licences, each a separate workspace or installation.

What happens after the 12 months?

Nothing renews automatically and we do not store your card. To carry on, you buy the licence again. Jeda Ledger Desktop includes 12 months of updates, and the version you have installed keeps working afterwards.

What if the product does not do what its page says?

Write to us within 14 days of delivery and we will fix it or refund the licence. This is for a product that does not match its page, not a return for a change of mind.

Can I work offline?

Jeda Ledger Desktop and Practice are installed applications. For Jeda Projects, the Offline desktop client module (€159) keeps working without a connection and syncs when you reconnect. The other cloud products are used online.

What is a workspace invitation?

For cloud products, an email sent to the address you give at checkout, with the link to open your workspace. Desktop products arrive differently: a download link and a licence key, also by email.

Who answers support questions?

People do, in the chat on this site and by email at hello@jedaithublimited.eu. We reply on working days. There is no phone line.

Can I pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay, through our payment service provider. We never see or keep your card details.
