What we sell

We sell licences to use our own software and cloud services for businesses: project management (Jeda Projects), finance (Jeda Ledger), approvals and business processes (Jeda Flow), bundles of these (Jeda Suite) and modules that add capability to a product. This website sells software licences only.

A licence lasts 12 months from delivery. It is non-exclusive, non-transferable and for your internal business use. The limits stated on the product page, such as the number of seats, companies or workflows, apply to that licence. If you buy more than one of the same product, each licence is separate and has its own limits. A module attaches to a licence and is used under the same terms and the limits stated on the module’s page.

Ordering and price

Prices are shown in euro and include applicable taxes. You place an order by completing checkout; we accept it when your payment is confirmed.

Our payment service provider acts as merchant of record for the sale. It takes the payment and issues the payment confirmation. Card details are entered on its payment page and are never seen or stored by us. The payment page may offer to show the price in another currency; if you choose that, a currency conversion fee may apply, and it is shown before you pay.

If you buy for a business you can enter a company name and VAT number at checkout. They are stored with the order and shown on your order page.

Delivery

Everything is delivered electronically. Access details are sent to the email address you give at checkout: a workspace invitation for cloud products, a download link and licence key for desktop products, or both, as stated on the product page. Your order page shows what you bought and the state of the order.

Giving a correct email address is your responsibility. If it is wrong, or the message is filtered as spam, the access details may not reach you; write to us with your order reference and we will help you get them.

Renewal

Nothing renews automatically, and we do not keep your card details. When a licence ends you can continue by buying again. Cloud access and updates are included for the 12 months of the licence. A desktop version you have installed keeps working afterwards but receives no further updates, unless the product page says otherwise.

Refunds

If the product does not do what its page says, write to us within 14 days of delivery. We will fix the problem or refund the licence.

Refunds are paid back to the payment method used for the order. Business buyers have no statutory right of withdrawal, and we do not offer returns for a change of mind. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • share your access or licence key with people or companies outside the limits of your licence;
  • resell, sublicense or rent the software, or offer it to third parties as a service;
  • copy, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it despite this term;
  • use the software to break the law, to store unlawful content, or to attack or overload our systems or anyone else’s.

If you seriously or repeatedly break this section we may suspend access. We will tell you why.

Updates and changes to the software

We improve our software and may change how it works, add features, or retire a feature that is no longer used. If a change takes away something the product page promised when you bought, the refund section above applies.

Support

You can reach us by the chat on this website and by email. A person answers, on working days. We do not promise a response time. Support covers using the software you bought and problems with delivery.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for all claims arising from a licence is limited to the amount you paid for that licence in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. You are responsible for the data you put into the software and for keeping the copies you need.

Your data

How we handle personal data is described on the Privacy page, and the cookies we use on the Cookies page.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one on this page when you pay. A change does not affect licences you have already bought. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and any rights you have to bring a claim in the courts there.
