How a licence works

You buy the right to use a product for 12 months. What the licence covers is written on the product page, and everything that follows is the same for every product.

From basket to access

Five steps, the same for every product.

  1. Choose

    Pick a product in the catalogue or the builder, and read its limits: seats, companies or workflows.

  2. Pay

    Set the number of licences in the basket, enter the licensee’s details (a business can add a company name and VAT number) and pay through our payment service provider.

  3. Email arrives

    Access goes to the address you gave at checkout: a workspace invitation, or a download link and licence key, depending on the product.

  4. Use it for 12 months

    The licence runs for 12 months from delivery. Jeda Ledger Desktop includes 12 months of updates, and the version you install keeps working afterwards.

  5. Renew by buying again

    Nothing renews by itself and we do not keep your card. When the 12 months are nearly up, buy the product again.

Quantity is the number of licences

Each licence is its own workspace or installation, with its own limits. 3 × Jeda Projects Team is three workspaces of 10 seats each, not one big one. You can order up to 10 of a product at a time.

Modules attach to a licence

A module sits on top of a product and runs for 12 months. Each one lists the products it fits, and the builder only lets you tick the ones that do.

Renewal is buying again

There is no subscription behind a licence and we store no card. Buy the product again when you want another 12 months.

Refund within 14 days

If a product does not do what its page says, write to us within 14 days of delivery. We will fix it or refund the licence. This is for a product that does not match its page, not for a change of mind.

Prices are in euro and include applicable taxes. The payment page may show the amount in your own currency; the confirmation of payment states what was charged.

Short answers

Is the price per month?

No. The price is for the 12-month licence, paid once.

Does a licence renew by itself?

No. Renewal is buying again, and we hold no card to charge.

Can I add my company and VAT number?

Yes, at checkout. Business buyers can enter a company name and VAT number; they are stored with the order and shown on the order page.

How many people can use one licence?

As many as its limit says: seats or users for Jeda Projects and Jeda Ledger Cloud, companies for Jeda Ledger Desktop and Practice, active workflows for Jeda Flow.

Is setup or custom work included?

No. We sell the software on this site, delivered automatically. We do not take custom development or consulting work.
